Yoga taught me to accept and love myself so as I am, and I learned the importance of self-care and creating small rituals in my everyday life to nourish my soul. Rituals help us pause and rest and they offer us something wonderful to look forward to throughout the day.
I started questioning if in our daily beauty routine, we really need all the products that the beauty industry tries to sell to us, convincing us that we are too old, wrinkly or fat playing with our self-esteem, doubts and insecurities. Most of the products we find in commerce unfortunately are also synthetic substances, many of them made of petroleum and do not contain any active properties for our skin.
This is why I switched completely to a few but really high-quality natural beauty products, most of them also homemade. I started discovering the power of plants and essential oils and incorporated them into my everyday life.
